A small plate


It is a small plate with strange graphical. I think it made of tile. It looks like a tree and sunshine. The color of it is black white and a little bit red.

Blanket
The blanket with the color grey, black and purple. I think it has a long history, maybe it`s from the Indigenous people.

Stamp
This stamp is from China. There are to Chinese words on the bottle of it “Luo Lun”, it`s the name of my instructor.

Ruler
This is a wooden ruler and it is a foot long. It is one of the important tools used to measure the length of things.

Three Chestnuts
There are three Chestnuts in brown color. In China most people like to eat Chestnuts and I think they taste well depends on my experience.

A model of Spanish farm
This is an exquisite model of Spanish farm. There is also a lovely model of house, tree, pool and a people in it. When I saw it , I can image how the people in font of the house and work in the farm.

A small pot
This is a small pot with color white and green. There is a wooden lid on the top of the pot. I think it used to save some important things.

A leather wallet
There is a big elephant and maybe an apple tree on this wallet. I think it is from Thailand.

A collection of coin
It is from republic of Singapore and it`s as a souvenir for people to collect. There are six coins in it and they have different value.

A model of canoe             
This is a model of canoe made of tree bark. These tree bark is stitched together into a canoe.

A sculpture of an Africa woman
This sculpture shows an Africa woman stand there who wears the traditional cloth. Also, she has two big ears that I nearly pulled to the shoulder.

A carving of a man
It shows that a man who wears a green cloak and a green hat. I think he is dancing and hitting the drum. Maybe he is doing a ceremony.

A carving of a head
It is a carving of a man`s head. There are two very small hole on the top of it. I think it uses to go through a string.  

 

  

Self Introduction

Hello, my name is ZeYuChen and you can call me River. I`m from a large city in the south of China called NanJing. It is a very beautiful city. A year before, there was a film named “flowers of the war” describe a story of a war 60 years ago and Christian Bale plays the leading role of this film. I recommend people who want to learn the history of NanJing could watch this film.

I just enjoyed a long summer holiday during last 4 month that I never tried before. I came back to my hometown and did lots of things I love in the summer holiday. At first, I was in home and string along with my family. My parents were really missed me because they never leave me for a year. In July, the European Football Championship was beginning, I love watching soccer game with my close friends. I think it is pretty enjoyable to do my favorite thing with my favorite people. After a month, Spanish used their special skills to win the champion. During June and August I often went outside to join party with my friends and play basketball with them. Also, I watch the Olympic game, I was excited when I saw many super stars in American basketball team and their perfect performance.

 But as we know, happiness is always too short. I went to America a week ago once again. I know it is time for me to study right now and I will put my effort on it.
